Update About the Blog

Good morning everyone! I know it’s ridiculously early here in Texas. I’ve actually been up for about an hour and a half. Still not sure what woke me up but I am very certain that as soon as I get this posted I am totally going back to bed and getting some more sleep.

I wanted to give an update about the blog. I have been having some problems with people not being able to see most of the fonts. I am using a WordPress theme that limits me to using only Google Webfonts. I have been trying to figure out how to bypass that but since I am not well-versed in html, or any computer language for that matter, I am hitting a brick wall. So, I am looking at changing the theme to something else that will use the regular fonts that almost everyone can read and see. I will probably work on that this week in between all my normal activity so do not be surprised to see more changes. It’s all for your benefit!

Anyway, I hope you are all having a great weekend!

Jesi Kay
Jesi Kay, poet and aspiring novelist, was born in the Texas panhandle where wide skies, lazy summer days, and rolling thunderstorms sparked her imagination and left lasting memories in her blood. An early reader, poetry and mythology were her passions. So much so that when she was ten years old her step-father gave her his college mythology textbooks to read, which were full of classic poetry and more than enough tales to fill her romantic and inquisitive nature. Jesi loves reading, art, going to the theater, the romanticism of the Victorian era (but not the missing conveniences of indoor plumbing and central air conditioning), running when the heat and humidity cooperate, and cold weather so she can wear her favorite boots and knitwear. Also, she still has those college mythology textbooks, a little worse for wear over time but still intact and telling their stories to her. Jesi is a contributor at The Well Tempered Bards blog and at www.octpowrimo.com.
