    I Found My Words

Lizzi needs to read something beautiful, which is ironic because for the last week I have been trying to find the words to write something just for her. It turns out, she had the words I’d lost and kept them safe. While this may not be beautiful, I hope I turned some of the pain I’ve read about the last few weeks into something a little less traumatic. Each stanza is a person, imperfect and exquisite. xo Jesi   Write Me Something Beautiful By Jessica Scott     “Write me something beautiful,” she said. So I looked for inspiration And found…   The soft flames of coral light endeavoring…

Raindrops On My Windowpane the Saturday He Died

My Sunday is not going so well, though I’m not sure just when or where it began to metamorphose into what it is. Somehow the day turned into “a day”. Maybe I just didn’t get enough sleep, or maybe I’m just feeling caged in a bit. So, when I was finally able to sit down and tackle today’s poetry challenge, my heart really just wasn’t in it. The prompt is Raindrops on My Windowpane. Something to tide you over

Hello my Lunatics! Tonight I will begin to update the blog. I want to change the overall appearance and characteristics, as well as how it operates. I’ve been very happy here at WordPress, but I’m trying to look at the future of my blog and its growth potential. Plus, something that fits my personality now.…

    Goonies Never Say Die!

I’ve hit that spot in my training for my 5k where I’m beginning to think I’m not going to be able to do it. Over the weekend I began running for 12 minutes then walking for 1 minute. I’m supposed to repeat 3 times. The first day sucked. I got through one repeat. That’s it. The second repeat I could only run for 9 minutes and then I had to walk for 2 minutes just to catch my breath, and I couldn’t even get to through 3 minutes during the 3rd repeat. I thought it may have had something to do with the fact that it’s warm now in Dallas…

    Sneak Peek of The Fall

I couldn’t find anything to blog about today, but, after getting some laundry and cleaning done, I was able to sit down and start yet another story. I know, I know. I really should work on one of the other two, but this one just came to me and I had to write as much of it down as I could so I wouldn’t forget it. Then the story just kept going, and the only reason I’ve stopped now is so I can get a post in before midnight. What this means for you, dear readers, is that you get a sneak peek of the story. I am having so…
