    Deep Thoughts Inspired by Rumi

“There is a life-force within your soul, seek that life.    There is a gem in the mountain of your body, seek that mine.    O traveler, if you are in search of That    Don’t look outside, look inside yourself and seek That.    This aloneness is worth more than a thousand lives.    This freedom is worth more than all the lands on earth.    To be one with the truth for just a moment,    Is worth more than the world and life itself.”    –   Rumi One of the good things about participating in a monthly poetry challenge is all the poetry you create. And, yes, the computer is fine, so is the cat, though…

    Hello Monday Part 1

Go ahead and smack me. You know you want to. How can I be glad it’s Monday? But I honestly am. It’s a brand new day, the sun is shining brightly, and the smell of spring is in the air here. I truly enjoy Mondays. Sundays are the days I have a hard time with because everything opens late and closes early. But Monday…yeah, Monday and I are buds. Monday is when I can get almost everything done and then I only have to just work on the upkeep during the week. On the weekends with kids at home, there’s no way on earth that anything stays clean or in…
