    I Need A Break

    I am so tired today. Everything is too loud, too noisy, too bright, too something. I’m glad I only have to deal with one challenge today. Because I’m not sure my brain could deal with the stress. Today’s NaPoWriMo prompt is to write descriptive prose then cut out all the unnecessary determiners, adverbs, etc., and leave the nouns, verbs, a few adjectives. Basically, strip it away to it’s basic ingredients and, voilรก! You should have a poem. I cheated. I just finished writing my article for my Twisted Writers post tomorrow, and I am worded out.     Still Here

    Hi everyone! I just wanted to post a short note to let you all know that I am actually here. I did make it back home in one piece but have been busy ever since. Why is it that you take a vacation to get a rest but then you need to rest from your vacation? I had a lovely time in Chicago, and I still think I could live there very easily if I didn’t mind the taste of the water or the fact that my allergies were a nightmare all weekend.     Oh, the Agony!

    Today I am struggling with my inner voice. You know the one. It’s that one that keeps getting on your case because you aren’t doing much. It’s nagging at you that you’re wasting time and not doing anything. I hate that one. But, today I really have no choice. Well, actually, it’s been since Thursday. I’ve made a rookie mistake, and now I’m very thankful for the foresight I had when planning on getting back into running.
