It’s All Amber’s Fault

Jesi Kay

Jesi Kay, poet and aspiring novelist, was born in the Texas panhandle where wide skies, lazy summer days, and rolling thunderstorms sparked her imagination and left lasting memories in her blood. An early reader, poetry and mythology were her passions. So much so that when she was ten years old her step-father gave her his college mythology textbooks to read, which were full of classic poetry and more than enough tales to fill her romantic and inquisitive nature. Jesi loves reading, art, going to the theater, the romanticism of the Victorian era (but not the missing conveniences of indoor plumbing and central air conditioning), running when the heat and humidity cooperate, and cold weather so she can wear her favorite boots and knitwear. Also, she still has those college mythology textbooks, a little worse for wear over time but still intact and telling their stories to her. Jesi is a contributor at The Well Tempered Bards blog and at

And I am sorry to say that I am sooooo not sorry… I will take the fault with grace!

Fault, responsibility, credit….yeah, I see where this is going. 😉

I love all those memes. That’s cool to have a friend like that. I have my ending, too. Now I just have to write what happens to cause such an ending. Thank you for sharing (:

Yay! I’m not the only one working backwards then. LOL
I really am. I wrote what I thought would be the first chapter of this book only to realize that it was a great ending and leads right into the next book. And then when I started writing a few days ago, I realized I was writing a scene that will take place a chapter or two before the ending chapter. LOL
So, I’m glad to know I’m not alone in how this is working out. 🙂

Everyone does need an Amber. Glad I have one, too. Been too long though. We need another girls night.

And uhmmmmmm I need to go write!!!! Smiling Tom/Loki commands it. 🙂

Oh, you missed it this past Sunday! I was so proud of Amber. She was in rare form. It was fun! Definitely need another movie night! And, uuhmmmm. yes. Thought you’d like that. 😉
The things I do for my girls…such a hardship. Le sigh.

Castle’s WRITER vest cracks my Accomplice and I up every time. It’s like announcing, IN WRITING, that he’s the one guy without a gun or combat training…

And yet, somehow, I want me one…! =D

I started at the beginning. I’ll meet you somewhere in the middle, OK? I’ll be the one following the Vulcan in the opposite direction….

The first time I saw that vest I laughed so hard I fell on the floor! I LOVE Castle. And that is EXACTLY what he’s advertising and I love it. It’s like saying “I’m the red shirt; kill me first!” LOL
      And I want one, too!
I’m following a half-elf, so we’ll try to keep up with our pointy-eared beasties and I’ll see ya when we get there! 🙂
