Friday’s Features: The Well Tempered Bards…

Happy Friday everyone! As with all storms, the clouds pass. I am enjoying a gorgeous, though cold, Friday. The last week has seen me rearranging two rooms, my living room and my bedroom. Completely. Which is funny because I only started out moving just three things in the living room to open it up, and one thing in the bedroom so I could set up my very first, brand new torture chamber (a.k.a. home gym). Moving all the furniture was torture in itself so I’m not so sure why I think I need a home gym. But, torture chamber I now have and, in a completely ironic way, I now have more space in both rooms. Go figure.

So today I posted over at The Well Tempered Bards and that is my featured site for Friday. It’s kind of a cool spot so check it out! Lizzi is one of the Bards so of course it’s awesome. This is my first guest blogging gig so go check it out, and leave your comments here or there and let me know what you think.

Also, I’ve been thinking about what I am going to do for my February 20th post for compassion and I have an idea and will begin working on it this weekend. Make sure you check back on the 20th for that. It may not be as awesome as I see it in my head but you get to be the judge of that.

Alrighty then…I have got to get back to Life and so do you, so go out and do Something this weekend.

Jesi Scott is an aspiring writer of novels, a poet, and blogger. She has guest-blogged over at The Well-Tempered Bards, and has a post featured at For Love Of…. Jesi has two poems published in Memories of Mist, a literary anthology, and one published story in a newsletter. She is currently working on releasing her first poetry collection as well as writing her first novel. When not writing, Jesi can be found getting lost in bookstores, singing and dancing around the house, experiencing culture with friends, and generally having fun with her four sons when they aren’t driving her weeping into her closet, which she calls her Padded Cell. She loves to rescue stray bookmarks, as well as books, and has opened her heart to any and all stories needing a home. Archery is her current favorite thing ever but you might want to stand back a little as she still has a tendency to drop the bow occasionally.

*happydances* I love that you’re my Guest Bard. Did you find your button? THANK YOU for writing for me πŸ˜€

Home gym *cringes in shame* I didn’t do ANY exercise today. I’m struggling with that, but netball was cancelled and I fell asleep instead of boxing. Ack!

Looking forward to hearing about your topic.

Yeah, my torture chamber…I got a REALLY good deal on it. I was *supposed* to go run this week but weather and emotions got the better of me. I have got to hit the pavement next week and the gym will help with strength training. That will help in both running AND archery. Plus, I have plans to go talk with someone about beginning yoga.
I haven’t had a chance to look for my button but I will a bit later. Life is calling and I must answer it.
