I’ve got it!!! I know what my theme will be for my Blogging A to Z Challenge! I am going to combine my two challenges!!!
Yes, I am doing TWO challenges for April. I am doing the Blogging A to Z challenge with CJ. She did it last year and it was a blast reading her posts. Especially since blogging every day is a challenge in itself for her. So, I’m happy to see her joining it again this year.
I was supposed to be doing PoMoSco which is Poetry Month Scouts from The Found Poetry Review but I never received a confirmation email or anything from them. And after spending a very long time going through my spam folder, I can guarantee there is nothing there. There was a handbook I needed to receive in the email to know what I needed to do and how to prep. Since I didn’t receive it, I am going to resign from that challenge. I’m guessing that I just got lost among all the sign-ups. I did sign up really early, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was missed.
Instead, I have joined NaPoWriMo (National Poetry Writing Month), per CJ’s suggestion. Thirty poems in thirty days. And guess what??? My friend, Rod E. Kok (pronounced Coke), is participating as well. Oh Lizzi!!! You should join, too! In fact, anyone who writes poetry and wants a challenge should join. It starts tomorrow so hurry up and join with me. I can promise a lot of interesting words and meeting some fantastic new friends if you do.
So, what’s my big theme reveal? I’m going to use the prompt from NaPoWriMo (possibly, that’s going to be a daily choice), and write a poem using the Blogging A to Z rules of using a letter from the alphabet every day. For example: whatever the prompt is for the poetry challenge I will attempt to combine it and something using the letter for the day from Blogging A to Z. Yeah, I know…I’m insane. Blogging A to Z does not write on Sundays so on those days you’ll only see whatever poem I write for the daily prompt at NaPoWriMo. This is going to be interesting. Stay tuned. You might actually get to see me freak the frakk out.
There ya go! What do you think? Can I pull this off or what?
Hope your having a great Tuesday. And by the way, check out CJ’s post about challenges over at Twisted Writers!
